Only products returned in an unused condition in original packaging are reused. If there is any evidence that a returned product has been un packaged or used, they are donated to local charities and animal shelters.

This is totally up to you. Our sheets are made in very sanitary conditions, but some people like to wash before use. However, this in not necessary, the sheets are beautiful straight out of the packet.

It's important to note that some manufacturers may advertise excessively high thread counts as a marketing tactic. However, these inflated numbers don't necessarily equate to better quality and can sometimes compromise breathability.

Unfortunately there is a lot of dishonesty and trickery in the textile trade. If you are paying a really low price for your product, the chanced are you will get what you pay for.

1. Bamtek sheets are made from genuine 100% Organic 100 certified fabric. Some cheaper brands will be blended with microfiber, which will make them hot, clammy and pill really easily. Do not fall for terms like 'organically grown' or 'Oeko-Tex Organic', these are not recognised organic certifications
2. Some claiming really high thread count are using false calculations. A textile thread has 3 components called twists. Some manufacturers count each twist as a thread, therefore claiming 900 thread count, for example 300TC x 3 twists = 900

All our bedding has been rigorously lab tested for pilling involving over 10,000 machine rubs. Because of our proprietary weaving process and high quality fibers , that are not blended with microfiber, you will not experience any pilling.

If for some reason you do experience some pilling, contact our customer service depaartment, send us an image and we will happily replace or refund your purchase.

Bamboo bedding is not known to be stretchy at all.

Bamtek bamboo bedding has been pre-washed during the manufacturing process so shrinkage after initial wash will be minimal, approximately 1-2%

Cheaper brands do not pre-wash ans will shrink 6-8%

Bamtek sheets are made from 100% Organic Bamboo Viscose

The Bamtek comforter is made from 100% Bamboo Viscose outer lining and the filling is 40% bamboo fiber and 60% polyester made from recycled bottles and certified by the Global Recycling Standard (GRS).

Cheaper comforters may use 100% non recycled polyester and blended outer lining.

If we used 100% bamboo fiber in the comforter filling, the comforter would have not loft and fluffiness. we decided it is better to have a comforter that you want to snuggle into.
